知覧武家屋敷庭園の中で出来るモノづくり体験 Manufacturing experience that can be done in the Chiran samurai mansion
和綿を使った糸紡ぎ体験ができます。会場は，普段は入れない知覧武家屋敷（三宅邸）へご案内します。
In the Chiran samurai mansion, which you can't usually enter, you can experience yarn spinning using Japanese cotton.
和綿を使ってミサンガを作ってみよう！ Let's make misanga using Japanese cotton!
昔ながらの道具を使って，収穫した綿花から糸を紡ぎ，紡いだ糸でミサンガを制作します。
自分が着ているものがどうやってできているのか，を体験を通して感じ取ってもらえれば幸いです。
I hope that you will be able to feel how what you are wearing is made through the experience.
